The National Planning Forum

The Forum brings together organisations in England representing those working in planning, in business, local government, the professions, the third sector and planners in government, to explore both agreement and difference across the sectors in developing a “fit for purpose” spatial planning system.

The Forum undertakes:

  • Evaluation – understanding and appraising policy and practice
  • Exploration – challenging and researching the issues in spatial planning
  • Exchange – sharing ideas and information across sectors and between members

It is a unique network. An opportunity to stay up to date with developing practice and policy; to share information with partners and to support original research on key planning issues.
