The programme included:
- DCLG Chief Planner Steve Quartermain updating on the government’s current programme of planning reform;
- Former Labour planning minister, the Rt Hon Nick Raynsford and Hugh Ellis of the TCPA introducing ‘The Raynsford Review of Planning’ which is addressing how the Government can reform the English planning system to make it fairer, better resourced and capable of producing quality outcomes, while still encouraging the production of new homes;
An expert panel considered the question ‘What kind of planning does England need?’
